Tariffs and room rates
We have a no-smoking policy in the house but the kitchen / dining room is in the heart of the house and has patio doors so smokers wont feel they have been banished as they stand outside!
Pets
There is a £15 a week charge for a well behaved dog (we love animals but not upstairs or on the furniture please). The garden is very safe and there are lovely walks within minutes. There is no charge for an Assistance Dog.
Children
We have tried to make the house child friendly, but it is an old property and is quite quirky, with a step up and down on both floors. The garden is completely enclosed and the gates are lockable, so you can relax whist the children play outside. The separate TV room has a video with a wide selection of suitable videos as well as games and books. A high chair and stair gates are included in the price.
Booking Terms
All bookings should be made in writing. We request a 25 per cent per cent deposit on booking, with the balance paid six weeks before arrival. If you have to cancel your holiday, we will refund your deposit if we are able to re-let the property.
Changeover day is Saturday. Departing guests are asked to vacate the cottage by 10am, so that it can be cleaned and made ready for the next visitors. Arrivals are welcome from 4pm. If you need to arrive earlier that is OK if there is no one else leaving, if later please let us know so someone can be there to welcome you.
The availability and tariff for 2008 for Church Lea House are shown below. The weekly rental includes towels, linen gas and electricity.
The house sleeps a maximum of ten people ( 9+1). For less than 6 people a discount of 25% is sometimes available - please ask.
